Nanterre - Site Hôpital

The Max Fourestier Hospital is in Nanterre, north-west of the business district of Paris La Défense, on the edge of the A86 motorway. To the south-east, the historic façade of the Hospital opens onto the Avenue de la République where it is surrounded by housing estates, some of which are very recent. Within the framework of the modernisation plan, the south-western section of the Hospital will be transformed into a residential district. The reconstruction project provides for the redevelopment of the large reception building and the creation of a road to serve the planned new buildings. Plans for the site will include housing, maintaining green spaces, renovating existing buildings fronting the Avenue de la République and creating a new image to represent the modernisation of this large facility.
