Corbeil-Essonnes - Ancien site de l'hôpital Gilles de Corbeil

The former Gilles de Corbeil Hospital, situated on the banks of the Seine upriver from Paris, benefits from exceptional surroundings. The 7 ha. plot is in a new residential district overlooking the Seine with beautiful views towards the Forest of Rougeau. The site is very close to the old RN7 and not far from the two RER D stations of Moulin-Galant and Villabé, and is served by several bus routes. The Hospital, which opened in 1985 and closed in 2012, is made up of three building complexes, the main building being 8 storeys high. The aim is to give it a new life via a planning operation combining the development of innovative facilities, businesses, services and quality housing while conserving the landscape features of the site.
